Trsic is well-known in Serbia to be the home of Vuk Karadzic. We were living 100 meters from his house.
The workcamp (Eko put) was about cleaning the forest between Vuk's house and Tronosa monastery and improving sustainable tourism. We cleaned the paths in forest, picked up garbage, build tables and benches, painted and installed boards in the forest for direction and to prevent people of throwing garbage in the forest.

We found several wild garbage dumps in the forest? While cleaning them we discovered some juice packs dating from 1977! The problem is not new...
We joined other local organizations in Loznica for a special action led by young people to recycle old computers, TV and hi-fi...
We went again to Loznica on the 4th of june for a national event for cleaning Serbia (Veliko Spremanje Srbije). Youth from Loznica were there and we all cleaned together several areas in the city. Journalists and TV were there.

We were 8 foreign volunteers, 2 serbian volunteers, 2 serbian campleaders and 3 people from organisation all living together... and we met a lot of people we will keep in touch especially among the "serbian crew"...
During all the camp we also had opportunity to film activities, even if most of the time it was not possible to film during working time. Anyway we managed to shoot almost 2 hours of material!
It's our biggest shooting ever in Serbia!
And it's just the beginning...
