The City authorities used the last warm days of the this year's construction season for reconstruction of the street of Vojvode Misica in Banjski Sor, from the restaurant "Central" to green market and afterwards the Street of Italian Volontiers from the police station to green market. As announced by the competent city departments the works involed complete reconstruction of the road that would be widened for half a meter ; reconstruction of pavements, public lighting, rainfall sewage lines and where necessary both water supply and sewage system shall be repaired.
The job was assigned to PP "Stobeks" while the traffic regime in the city centre was temporarily changed.The bus and freight lines were redirected to Dositer Obradovic boulevard so that passage through city centre was allowed only for passenger cars. The bus station in Banjski Sor was temporarily closed and passengers were instructed to use the Main Bus Station in Loznica. Itinerary taxis operating on the route Banja Koviljaca Loznica were temporarily transferred to parking outside Hipo bank. As explained by competent institutions and contractors the reconstruction of the street should be finished in about twenty days, provided weather conditions are fine.
