Loznica Employment fair

The second this year's employment fair was held in the Sport Centre "Lagator" on Thursay, organized by the National Employment Agency. Forty five employers participated at the fair, which needed about 300 of people of different professional backgrounds. The most sought for professions were production josb especially in the field of food processing, textiles, wood processing and metal processing area.  Demand was high also for the highly educated work force: mechanical and graphic engineers, graduated economists, lawyers, pharmacists, medical doctors. The Minister of Economics and Regional Development was a fair guests who underlined that this Ministry assigned over three billions of dinars in 2008 for strrangthening  unemployment combating measures.
            -  "I believe that we shall manage to reduce the high unemployment rate problem as much as possible."- said Vidoje Petrovic, the Mayor of Loznica and added - "I also feel compelled to express my gratitude to the National Employment Agency which made systematic efforts to meet the demands of the employers from one side and needs of those who are, from the other side, endeavoring to exercise their basic right, right to work." stressed Petrovic.
